This resource guide is designed to accompany the book, and will provide you with updated resources to help continue your financial journey. They are organized below by chapter, and will correspond with the resource section found at the end of Keeping Finance Personal.

Beyond the chapter-specific resources, I have compiled an overarching list of recommended books, podcasts, social media creators, and other material to check out. Here is where you will also be able to support and connect with all the wonderful folks who you heard from in this book.

Chapter 1

To avoid working with a financial advisor whoā€™s putting their profits over whatā€™s best for you, you want to make sure they are a fiduciary. This is just a fancy word that means they are legally required to act and make decisions that are in your best interest and are not allowed to profit from your investments. When going into a meeting with a financial advisor, I suggest coming in with a list of the topics you want to cover. Here are some examples to start with:

Did you enjoy Keeping Finance Personal?

Weā€™d love it if you could leave a review!!

"I really like that this combines mental health topics with finance topics. Itā€™s a unique perspective on the topic of finance, which is a genre where books can oftentimes be very cookie cutter, especially to me."

"The material was easy to read, approachable and made my ADHD brain feel empowered to try new methods to budget and take on finance in ways that will make me feel successful in the future!"

"WHEW. We LOVE. This is my new go-to PF book recommendation, 10/10. And the fact that itā€™s written by a fellow Gen Z cusp baby is just the cherry on top."
